Our recruitment process conforms rigorously to BS 7858:2006+Amendment 2:2009. Upon receipt of CV’s an application form is sent requesting photographs and documentation to evidence experience, skills, proof of address which, when returned is reviewed by Personnel and Operational Management. Prospective candidates are given a telephone vet to ascertain language and communication skills, after which a decision to invite to interview is made based on the assignment applied for and records of this process kept on relevant Quality Controlled documents.

During the interview process, sensory tests are conducted to gauge sight, hearing and smell senses and the candidate given a medical history questionnaire in line with BS7858.

After interview our Personnel Department screen and vet the applicant for a full 5 years or to school leaving age, including CCJ and CRB (standard or enhanced, as required) checks. Screening is completed within 5 days and candidates vetted within 8 weeks of starting provisional employment. All referees are sent a questionnaire about the candidate, and referees of applicants for sensitive assignments may be interviewed. Previous employers are telephoned for a verbal reference before written reference forms are sent.
