BTEC ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN SURVEILLANCE

This 3 week course is the only surveillance course in the UK to be awarded a BTEC Advanced Diploma. It is the highest accredited qualification you can receive in this field and it offers advanced level training and skills. The aim of the course is to train and qualify you to the level of Team Leader in Surveillance Management. This allows you to appreciate and demonstrate the required aptitude to control surveillance operations.

The broad scope of training modules allows you to adapt to most surveillance "tradecraft" tactics used in the security environment. Advanced modules have been designed to develop your skills through careful coaching and assessment. The level of competence you attain will ensure your greater understanding and knowledge of planning and controlling surveillance operations, culminating with the production of intelligence presentations and reports.

The course is demanding but very exciting. It will hone your leadership skills and develop your appreciation of the intelligence requirement. The modules are carefully chosen to fit in with realistic scenarios which build as the course progresses. You will follow a detailed coaching and assessment package throughout the 3 weeks, culminating in the final 3 day assessment exercise. You will be qualified as a Surveillance Operator and as a Surveillance Team Leader (Surveillance Controller/Surveillance Manager).
