Our Personnel and Operational Management Teams conform to a rigorous recruitment process
We adhere to the latest version of BS7858 “Security screening of individuals employed in a security environment” and we set our own strict parameters within the terms of this British Standard to ensure quality vetting of our security personnel is completed in a timely, efficient manner.
Upon receipt of initial candidate applications, the Personnel and Operational Management Teams will begin to collate for review, photographic and documented evidence of the candidate’s previous experience, skills and proof of address.
During the interview process, sensory tests are conducted to gauge sight, hearing and smell senses and the candidate is requested to complete an equal opportunities questionnaire and full medical history questionnaire, in line with BS 7858.
Post interview, our Personnel Department screen and vet the applicant further, including a full 5 year, or to school age period, including County Court Judgment (CCJ) and Disclosure and Barring Service checks (DBS, formerly CRB) or enhanced checks, as required. All candidate referees are requested to complete a questionnaire about the candidate and for sensitive assignments, referees may be interviewed.
The limited screening process is completed within 5 days and candidates vetted within 8 weeks of starting provisional employment.
